Ahh....the stairs.

Yeah, that's right. I have found my new love in life....my stairs leading up to the big play room. I try and make a "jail break" from my parents "rigged gate"(a box of diapers, a box of wipes, a cooler, and another box of diapers.) Sounds funny, huh? Not so much any more. They keep checking Walmart (they evidentally ordered me a real gate about 2 1/2 weeks ago) but it has not shown up yet. I can just see the frustration in Mama's face every time Daddy says it's on its way. But back to the stairs. I do pretty darn well on them considering I am 10 months old.I have yet to fall :) Pretty exciting huh! I have to keep checking to see if Mama really is there behind me on every step I take. She is!! That gate better hurry up and get here, otherwise Mama is going to go insane. Nighty-night!!

Finally a pretty day to go outside!

Mama took for me for a walk in my stroller. When we got back she got my new mini "bicycle" and we took it out in our neighborhood. Mama was a bit scared because of the concrete but I did a fantastic job of not falling. I can't wait to start walking on my own!

Pittock mansion today

Today we got to go to Pittock mansion in downtown Portland. I had such a good time laughing at Mama and playing peek-a-boo while going from room to room. Check out the views we got to see of downtown and the outside of the mansion. It was built in 1914!

Daddy's 40th surprise party!

The first picture is from the morning after Daddy's party. We were wiped out! He let Mama sleep in b/c she had a tennis match that morning. The other pics are with Grandma and Mama. I wish Mama took pics of me and Grammy and Gramps that night but she must have forgotten. Daddy was very surprised though--40 people were there!

We got to meet Mike and my 2nd cousin, Karly Dian Dralle last weekend. She is too cute! On Wednesday Grammy and Gramps came in to town and I had so much fun with them. Come back soon Grammy and Gramps!
